Every dollar in the drawer, accounted for
Open a shift with a count, log every cash movement, and close only when the drawer matches. Expenses live here too.
Counted by denomination, open to close
Every cash movement in one log
Expenses by category and vendor
Open to close, on every register
Each register runs its own shift. Count in, move cash during the day, and count out when service ends.
- 01
Open shift
Count the drawer in. Kuber shows the last close, and your opening count must match it.
- 02
Add cash or request change
Add cash to the drawer or request change. Each one keeps its own count by denomination.
- 03
Drop cash
Move extra cash to the safe during service. A drop can’t be more than the balance.
- 04
Close shift
Count out by denomination. The count must match the balance, then you confirm to close.
Every register at a glance
Search, create and edit registers. Permissions are set per role, and each device can have its own default register.
Move cash in and out, then close the day
Add cash to the drawer
Need more in the drawer mid-shift? Count what goes in by denomination and add a note so the next person knows where it came from.
- Counted in whole pieces across 11 denominations
- Shows up on the register dashboard with your note
- If the save fails, your count stays on screen
Drop extra cash in the safe
Take cash out of the drawer during service and log it as a drop. Kuber won’t let a drop go past what the register holds.
- Counted by denomination, like every other movement
- Can’t be more than the balance
- Logged with time and notes on the dashboard
Request change for the drawer
Running low on small bills and coins? Request change with its own count, so the drawer always adds up.
- Keeps its own count, apart from drops
- Can’t be more than the balance
- If the save fails, your count stays on screen
Close only when it matches
Count the drawer out. The footer shows the counted total and any over or short, and the shift closes only when the count matches the balance.
- Counted total and over / short in the footer
- Must match the balance to close
- One more confirm before the shift ends

Every cash movement, explained
The register dashboard lists each movement with its type, time, notes and signed amount. Cash sales, catering cash payments and gift card purchases land here on their own. Tap a receipt to open the completed order, or a quote number to open the catering quote.
Filter by type and sort newest or oldest first. When cash is taken, the drawer opens from the receipt printer.
Explore cateringExpenses in your daily numbers
The Dashboard report shows the day’s expenses. Expenses by category and by vendor each come with a by-day chart, and the paid tips list exports to CSV.
