Never charge a card twice

While the guest taps, the Charging screen shows the terminal, the time and the reference. If the answer gets lost, Kuber warns that the last charge may still finish before anyone tries again.

Every attempt is kept

Each card attempt stays on the device that started it, with its terminal, time and reference.

Lost answers are looked up

If the terminal never answers, Kuber finds the attempt in payment history by its exact id.

Partial approvals stay owed

When $30.00 is approved on a $38.20 split, the other $8.20 stays due for another card or cash.

FAQ

Which card processors and terminals work with Kuber?
CardConnect, Finix and Dejavoo. Finix runs on the server or on the Finix D135 Bluetooth reader, chosen from a reader picker. Dejavoo works over SPIn and in the Kuber app on P1, P8 and P18 handhelds, which also show a Debit button.
What happens if the terminal never answers?
The Charging screen shows the terminal, elapsed time and reference, and you can tap Stop waiting. The attempt stays on the device, Kuber looks it up in payment history by its exact id, and it warns “Last charge may still finish” before anyone charges again.
Can I change a split after someone has paid?
Splits can be edited until money is taken. Once a payment exists, the split option locks. You can still take partial payments until every share reaches $0.
What are the processing rates?
[Processing rates]. Ask us on a demo and we’ll walk through them for your setup.
Can I take payments if the internet drops?
No. Payments need a connection. Bills still print, so guests can check their totals while you wait for it to come back.
Does Pay work in the browser version?
Yes, with fewer methods. The browser version hides any method that needs USB, Bluetooth or local hardware.
